Blue Guitar Lesson
Tips for Improving your Chops...
|
Whether you are brand new to playing the blues
guitar of if you have been playing it for quite some time, I
imagine that you are reading this because you are interested in
finding some new ways to improve your blues guitar playing skills
by having a blues lesson. If that is the case then you are in luck,
as I will be more than happy to assist you with this!
There are a wide variety of ways in that you can
have a successful blues lesson. This is good to know because a
blues lesson is truly a great way to help you become the best blues
guitar player that you can possibly be! For starters, you should
try and actively seek out more experienced guitar players. I think
you will be pleasantly surprised by how much you can learn just by
watching them play the blues. Also, most people that are great
blues guitar players are more than happy to share what they know
with those who are new to the whole blues guitar playing scene.
Therefore, spending time with a more experienced guitar player is
an excellent way to have a blues lesson!

Also, you must remember that the old saying "practice makes
perfect" really is true, particularly when it comes to learning a musical
instrument. Therefore, if you truly want to becomes great at playing the blues
guitar, it is absolutely imperative that you spend as much of your free time as
possible practicing different chords and techniques. It is important to realize
that while many of the great blues guitar players make their guitar playing look
effortless, part of why they're so good is because I'm sure they've spent hours
upon hours honing and fine tuning their craft. Therefore, the whole aforementioned
concept of "practice makes perfect" really is perhaps the most important blues
lesson out there!
Another thing that I would highly recommend doing is at least
occasionally taping yourself during your blues guitar playing sessions. Doing this
is a great way to have an effective blues lesson, because you can learn so much
just by playing the tapes back later on and listening with a careful ear to see
what particular things need to be improved on. Then, once you have listened to the
tapes and discovered what things need to be fixed, you can then work on those
particular things until they are no longer an issue.
I wish you the best of luck, and I hope that your blues lesson
helps you to enjoy playing the blues guitar for many years to come!
